This week (and maybe part of next week) you will create a short film detailing the day in the life of an object of your choice. -- Examples that have already been done are a basketball and a pencil.
Tasks (must be completed in this order):
1. Choose your group and get approved.
2. Choose your object and get approved.
3. Choose your filming method (iPad, flip camera from the library, GoPro, your own video device from home).
4. Create a storyboard detailing 25 different shots in which your object can be included.
5. Film all 25 shots -- this may take a day or two
6. Edit your film using either iMovie on the iPad or Windows Movie Maker on your computers.
Requirements: Your film must follow these guidelines:
1. Can be no more than 1 min and 30 sec.
2. Must include 25 different shots of your object.
3. Must include text at appropriate times during the final project.
4. Must be professional quality (stay away from excessive transitions)
5. Must include sound effects when appropriate.
6. Can include background music (if you are using someone else's song, you need to email the record label for permission) -- I am serious about this -- no permission = no music.
7. Must give credit to Studio 143 during the movie.
If you need help using an editing program, you need to use your resources.
- Any program you are using has a HELP function.
- You could also google a tutorial of how to complete the task you wish.
